Fatal Truck Accidents in Louisiana
Every day, traffic-related incidents leave hundreds of people across our state with injuries. Although we can be proactive in ensuring the safety of others sharing the road, there is no way to ensure other motorists provide us with the same care and consideration. In fact, tens of thousands of people are harmed in accidents while hundreds of others do not survive their injuries. Statistics showed that more than 655 people lost their lives in auto accidents throughout the state of Louisiana in 2019. More than 100 people ended up losing their lives as a result of injuries sustained in semi-truck and other commercial vehicle accidents. Accidents involving large vehicles are more likely to result in catastrophic injuries or fatal injuries for those involved.
