Alexandria, LA – Pedestrian Accident on Overton St near Vance Ave Ends in Injuries
Alexandria, LA (April 9, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Alexandria area claimed one person’s life on Wednesday morning. At around 12:50 a.m., on April 7, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Overton Street.
Reports from authorities show that a pedestrian was traveling near the intersection of Overton Street and Vance Avenue during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a passing vehicle.
The pedestrian incurred fatal injuries as a result of this accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with Traffic Reconstruction and Crime Scene Units.
