Baton Rouge, LA – Airline Hwy Shut Down Due to Injury Crash
Baton Rouge, LA (August 03, 2021) – A car accident involving an unknown number of vehicles and victim injuries happened in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, August 3rd.
Sources from inside the Baton Rouge Police Department said that the accident took place at about 10:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Airline Highway, also known as US-61, in the area of Greenwell Springs Road, or State Highway 37.
Local law enforcement officers and emergency medical personnel were both dispatched to the scene. Paramedics evaluated everyone who was involved in the accident. At least one person sustained injuries that were serious enough to warrant transport to an area medical facility.
This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement officers.
