Baton Rouge, LA (March 23, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Baton Rouge area claimed the lives of two victims on Tuesday morning. At around 11:11 a.m., on March 23, emergency crews were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 77.
Reports provided by local sources show that a head-on collision between two vehicles occurred on Highway 77 near the Grosse Tete Bridge. The impact of the crash left both vehicles with moderate front-end damage. One of the vehicles went off the roadway and came to rest in a grassy area.
Two people who were involved in the accident were fatally injured. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
