Baton Rouge, LA (May 12, 2021) – A Child has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Sunday evening in Baton Rouge. On May 9, the Louisiana State Police was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of an accident on Interstate 110.
Reports show that a 2008 Chevrolet Impala was traveling on the northbound side of the highway when it was rear-ended from behind. The impact of the crash caused the Impala to crash into a concrete barrier on the side of the road.
The Impala then flipped over, ejecting a 1-year-old boy from the vehicle. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the child deceased. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the victim who lost their life in this accident.
