Baton Rouge, LA (July 30, 2021) – Emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of an accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At approximately 1:28 p.m., on July 30, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Jefferson Highway.
Reports from authorities show that a traffic-related incident occurred on Jefferson Highway that caused moderate delays in the area between Stumberg Lane and Dulac Drive. The police and firefighters responded to the scene and secured the area as medical personnel tended to injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
