Baton Rouge, LA – Injury Accident Reported on Silverleaf Ave near Mickens Rd
Baton Rouge, LA (April 17, 2021) – Authorities were called to the site of a traffic-related incident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries on Friday morning. At around 10:36 a.m., on April 16, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a serious accident on Silverleaf Avenue.
According to local news sources, a collision between vehicles occurred on Silverleaf Avenue near the intersection with Mickens Road. Police and firefighters worked to clear the scene to allow thru-traffic as medics provided treatment to injured parties.
Medics subsequently transported victims to local hospitals where they underwent further treatment. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation with the Baton Rouge Police Department.
