Baton Rouge, LA – Scenic Hwy Shut Down Due to Injury Accident

Baton Rouge, LA (August 25, 2021) – Victims were injured in a car accident on an exit ramp in East Baton Rouge Parish on Wednesday, August 25th.

Police said the crash happened at about 4:55 p.m. on the exit ramp leading from the eastbound lanes of Scenic Highway to the southbound lanes of Interstate 110 in Baton Rouge.

The area was closed to traffic as first responders and highway patrol officers worked the scene. Paramedics evaluated the victims. They also provided medical assistance or emergency transportation as it was needed.

This accident is under investigation.
