Baton Rouge, LA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-12 W near O’Neal Ln Ends in Injuries
Baton Rouge, LA (April 28, 2021) – Authorities in the Baton Rouge area were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a major collision on Monday morning. At around 6:30 a.m., on April 26, the Baton Rouge police were notified that a crash took place on Interstate 12.
According to reports provided by local news sources, a collision between a white sedan and a black sedan occurred on the inner lanes of westbound Interstate 10 near O’Neal Lane. The incident caused major delays due to its closing of the three left lanes of the roadway. Delays spanned back to the Juban Road exit as crews worked to clear the scene.
An ambulance responded to the scene to treat injured victims and transport them to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the police in Baton Rouge are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
