Baton Rouge, LA (August 31, 2021) – A car accident involving multiple vehicles caused injuries to the people involved on Tuesday, August 31st in East Baton Rouge Parish.
According to the highway patrol, the collision happened at about 5:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 12 on the exit leading to Essen Lane. The accident caused the closure of the three lefthand lanes and stopped traffic back to Millerville Road in Baton Rouge.
Officers and emergency medics all responded to the scene where they assisted in vehicle rescue, road clean-up, and pre-hospital emergency care.
