Bayou L’Ourse, LA – Dalaina Rentrope Killed in Crash on LA-662 near US-90
Bayou L’Ourse, LA (May 1, 2021) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday morning. On April 28, emergency crews were notified that a crash took place on Louisiana State Highway 662.
According to reports, 28-year-old Dalaina Rentrope from Morgan City was traveling north on Louisiana State Highway 662 when her vehicle collided with a Ford F-150 just north of US Highway 90.
Rentrope sustained severe injuries in the accident. She was transported to the University Medical Center in New Orleans where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the Ford and their passenger were both transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
