Assumption Parish, LA – Teen Killed in ATV Crash with Motorcycle on Pleasant Lane
Assumption Parish, LA (March 28, 2021) – A teenager lost their life following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday evening in Assumption Parish. At around 8 p.m., on March 27, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident on Pleasant Lane.
Reports show that a 15-year-old male was riding a 2020 Yamaha ATV east on Pleasant Lane when it collided with a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle. The impact of the crash caused the ATV rider to be ejected from his vehicle.
The victim was transported to a hospital in the Donaldsonville area. He was then transported to a hospital in Baton Rouge where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The rider of the motorcycle was not injured in the accident. At this time, authorities with the Louisiana State Police with Troop B are investigating the crash.
