Baton Rouge, LA (June 1, 2021) – The Baton Rouge Police Department, firefighters, and EMS responded to the scene of a crash that ended in injuries on Tuesday morning. At around 7:59 a.m., on June 1, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash on Florida Boulevard.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Florida Boulevard in the area of Cora Drive during the morning hours. The incident caused disruptions in traffic throughout the area as the police assisted firefighters in removing vehicles and debris from the roadway.
Medical personnel responded to the scene to render aid to injured parties. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Baton Rouge Police Department.
