Gibsland, LA – Milton Mosby Killed in Collision With Tractor-Trailer on I-20
Gibsland, LA (June 30, 2021) – A man died when a tractor-trailer crashed into the back of his car, the impact of which pushed both vehicles into a roadside ditch on Interstate 20 in Bienville Parish.
The accident took place at about 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30th in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Louisiana Highway 154 at Gibsland.
Louisiana State Police have since identified the victim as 71-year-old Milton Mosby, a resident of Claiborne Parish.
An investigation revealed that Francisco Calvillo, 32, a resident of Waxahachie, Texas., was driving a 2012 Kenworth tractor-trailer eastbound on I-20 when it collided with the back of Mosby’s eastbound 2015 Nissan Altima.
Calvillo was unharmed during the incident.
