Lafayette Parish, LA (May 23, 2021) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Lafayette Parish area that ended in injuries while causing moderate delays in traffic.
At approximately 7:55 p.m., on May 21, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a traffic-related incident on Louisiana State Highway 93.
Reports from authorities indicate that an unknown number of vehicles collided on Louisiana State Highway 93 in the area of Cameo Drive. The incident blocked the roadway, prompting crews to close off the area as they worked to clear the scene.
