Police said that that the collision occurred at about 1:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at the Franklin Avenue exit.
The area was closed down while local authorities and Emergency Medical Services arrive on the scene. They medically evaluated everyone involved in the accident. At least one victim was transported by ambulance to a local trauma center.
