New Orleans, LA (July 11, 2021) – Local first responders and officers from the New Orleans Police Department were dispatched to the area of a car accident on Friday, July 11th at about 2:30 a.m.
Initial reports show that the wreck took place in the northbound lanes of State Highway 47 on Green Bridge, near the junction for Interstate 510 in New Orleans.
Very little information pertaining to the accident has been released so the exact total of injured victims and the severity of their injuries is not currently known.
The area was closed off while investigators determined the cause of the accident and emergency medical services worked to physically assess and aid those involved and provide the proper medical care.
This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
