New Orleans, LA – Two-Car Wreck on Hwy 90 at Loyola Ave Causes Injuries
New Orleans, LA (September 15, 2021) – On Tuesday morning, September 15, local police were notified of a serious car accident that occurred on U.S. Highway 90 near the Superdome.
The collision took place around 8:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 90B. The wreck blocked all lanes of the highway near Loyola Avenue, causing significant delays as police worked to clear the scene. two cars reportedly collided in the right lanes of the interstate, causing an apparent chain-reaction accident that may have involved additional vehicles.
Although additional information has yet to be released, officials were able to confirm at least one injury caused by the crash. EMS reportedly rushed one victim to an area medical center for further treatment. Their current condition is unknown, however.
