Orleans Parish, LA – Vehicle Accident With Injuries on Highrise Bridge
Orleans Parish, LA (July 20, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident involving an undetermined number of vehicles that also resulted in victim injuries took place in Orleans Parish on Tuesday, July 20th. Sources from inside the New Orleans Police Department indicated that the collision occurred at about 4:20 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 along the Highrise Bridge. the Aillet Road exit.
Due to vehicle recovery operations, traffic was gridlocked from the scene to the area of Franklin Avenue. Local law enforcement officers and emergency medical personnel were both dispatched to the scene. Paramedics evaluated everyone who was involved in the accident. At least one person sustained injuries that were serious enough to warrant transport to an area medical facility. This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement officers.
