Tangipahoa Parish, LA – Four Injured, Including Infant on US-190 and LA-445
Tangipahoa Parish, LA (July 11, 2021) – State Police were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run crash on US 190 at the LA 445 intersection in Tangipahoa Parish on Sunday, July 11th.
The crash left a total of four people with injuries. One adult passenger sustained moderate injuries. The adult driver, an infant, and a child sustained injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. An investigation determined that the accident happened as the victim’s vehicle was driving eastbound on US 190 when a vehicle of undetermined make and model attempted to make a lefthand turn on LA-445 and crashed into the driver’s side of the victim’s car. The driver of the striking vehicle then fled the scene. Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
