Bossier City, LA – Adam Stewart Identified as Pedestrian Killed on Arthur Ray Teague Pkwy
Bossier City, LA (September 02, 2021) – On Wednesday, September 1st, at about 6:00 a.m., Louisiana State Police were called to investigate a fatal pedestrian accident. The crash took place on Arthur Ray Teague Parkway in the area of McDade Street.
The deceased pedestrian has since been identified as 36-year-old Adam Stewart, a resident of Bossier City.
An investigation concluded that 32-year-old Stephen Michael Grappe, also from Bossier City, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet pick-up truck northbound on Arthur Ray Teague Parkway, near McDade Street when it struck Stewart who was walking along the righthand side of the roadway.
Grappe was unharmed during the accident.
The Bossier Parish Coroner’s Office pronounced Stewart dead at the scene.
Although impairment is not believed to be a factor, routine toxicology samples were collected and submitted for analysis.
This accident is under investigation.
