Broussard, LA (May 26, 2021) – Authorities were called to the site of a motor vehicle accident in the Broussard area that ended in injuries. Just after 6 p.m., on May 25, emergency crews received the notification that an auto accident took place on US Highway 90 B.

Reports provided by the Lafayette Parish Communication District indicate that a collision between vehicles occurred in the 5100 block of the highway during the evening hours.

The crash blocked the roadway, prompting the police and firefighters to secure that area to prevent further injuries and damages.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the police in Lafayette are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
