Cedar Grove, LA – One Hospitalized After Accident Involving Suspect Fleeing Police on Linwood Ave
Cedar Grove, LA (June 28, 2021) – Police were dispatched to the scene of a shooting and a car accident in the Cedar Grove neighborhood of Shreveport on Friday, June 25th.
Reports show that officers received a call at about 5:15 p.m. concerning a shooting at the intersection of Linwood Avenue and West 70th Street.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport with life-threatening injuries.
In his attempt to flee, the suspect crashed into another car. The children inside the struck vehicle were unharmed during the impact but the driver was taken to the hospital. Their current condition is unknown.
