Covington, LA – Accident on LA-21 near Nolan Ln Claims Life of Randy Len Dupriest Jr
Covington, LA (April 9, 2021) – An accident reported in the Tammany Parish area claimed one person’s life on Thursday evening. Just before 6 p.m., on April 8, emergency crews were called to the site of a motor vehicle accident on Louisiana Highway 21.
Reports from authorities show that 34-year-old Randy Len Dupriest Jr. of Bush was driving a 2018 GMC Sierra north on Louisiana Highway 21 when he collided head-on with a 1995 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.
The impact of the crash caused severe damage to the GMC. Dupriest was fatally injured as a result of this accident and pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck tractor-trailer was transported to a local hospital for medical assistance.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
