Crowley, LA – Nicole Marie Susak & Mary Lemaire Killed in Crash on LA-13 near LA-92

Crowley, LA (April 3, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Crowley area claimed the lives of two women from the Abbeville area. On April 3, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Louisiana Highway 13.

Reports show that just after noon, 40-year-old Nicole Marie Susak was driving a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon on Louisiana Highway 13 when her vehicle collided with a 2018 Odyssey at the intersection with Louisiana Highway 92.

The incident left the Hyundai with severe damage. Susak and her passenger, 54-year-old Mary Lemaire, were both severely injured. Susak was declared deceased at the scene. Lemaire was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The driver and the passenger in the Honda were both treated for minor injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
