Denham Springs, LA – Kenneth Henson Fatally Struck by Train near Summer St

Denham Springs, LA (May 1, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident in Denham Springs late Tuesday evening. On April 27, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Summer Street.

According to reports, Kenneth Henson was walking west near the tracks on Summer Street when he was struck by a train that was traveling east at approximately 36 miles per hour.

Henson sustained fatal injuries as a result of this accident and was declared deceased at the scene. Police and firefighters secured the area to initiate investigations. At this time, investigations are ongoing.
