Doyline, LA – Child Killed in UTV Crash on Grant Cr

Doyline, LA (June 20, 2021) – An 11-year-old resident of Plain Dealing died during a UTV crash east of Doyline on Sunday, June 20th.

The collision occurred at about 3:00 p.m. when a 2011 Polaris utility task vehicle operated by a 14-year-old female driving northbound on Grant Circle attempted to make a lefthand turn onto Bistineau Terrace Road. The driver lost control of the UTV causing it to roll over.  

Her passenger, an 11-year-old boy, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the UTV was hospitalized for non-critical injuries.
