Grant Parish, LA – Ricky Randall Killed in Rear-End Crash on US-167

Grant Parish, LA (July 08, 2021) – One man was charged with vehicular homicide following the death of another during a two-car accident on U.S. 167 in the area of State Highway 1241 on Wednesday, July 7th.

The accident took place at about 5:50 a.m. when 22-year-old Winnfield resident Mario Armbrister was driving northbound on U.S. 167 when he failed to slow as he approached a vehicle towing a boat trailer driven by 63-year-old Ricky Randall, a resident of Dry Prong. Armbrister rear-ended Randall’s boat trailer forcing Randall’s vehicle off the roadway where it crashed through several wires.

Armbrister sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. 

Randall’s injuries were fatal and he died at the scene.
