Holden, LA – Teen Loses Life in Car Crash on I-12 near MM 29
Holden, LA (May 2, 2021) – One person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Holden area on Wednesday evening. Just after 7 p.m., on April 28, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on Interstate 12.
According to reports, 18-year-old Slade Hutchinson was traveling east on Interstate 12 in a BMW sedan when his vehicle went off the roadway and overturned near mile marker 29.
A 16-year-old male passenger in the vehicle was ejected, suffering severe injuries. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he passed away from his injuries.
Hutchinson sustained moderate injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
