Lafayette, LA – Police, EMTs On Scene of Injury Crash on I-10 at Poydras Hwy

Lafayette, LA (August 30, 2021) – On Sunday, August 29th, state police were called to the site of an injury-causing accident at about 5:30 a.m. on an Orleans Parish interstate.

It took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 near the turn-off for Poydras Highway.

The immediate area of the I-10 was closed down.

Emergency medical personnel also responded to the scene to provide the injured parties with any necessary medical treatment or emergency transportation.

This accident is under investigation by the Louisiana State Police.
