Vehicle speed accounts for about 30% of all road fatalities. On any roadway, you should remain aware of your speed. Even though driving faster can be tempting, speeding up by even a few miles per hour raises your odds of getting a police citation and being injured in an accident.Β

Drivers should be aware of how fast they are going along with the speeds of those around them. Louisiana has a lot of famous tourist destinations and often hosts exhibitions that draw large crowds from other states and countries. Drivers from other places are unfamiliar with our speed limits and traffic patterns and are less likely to observe traffic laws than those who live here.
