New Orleans, LA (August 15, 2021) – On Sunday, August 15th, officers from the New Orleans Police Department were dispatched to the site of a car accident with injuries.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 in the area of Morrison Road, As authorities investigated the cause of the collision, traffic was left at a standstill that reached Crowder Boulevard.

Emergency medical personnel also responded to the scene to provide the injured parties with any necessary medical treatment or emergency transportation.

No additional information is available at this time.

This accident is under investigation by the New Orleans Police Department.
