New Orleans, LA (May 30, 2021) – Emergency crews received the notification that a collision took place in the New Orleans area that ended in injuries. At around 5:25 a.m., on May 30, the New Orleans Police Department was notified that an accident took place on Interstate 10.

Reports from the NOPD show that a collision between vehicles blocked the eastbound side of the interstate near Causeway Boulevard. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as the police and firefighters worked to clear the roadway.

At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
