New Orleans, LA (July 19, 2021) – Authorities in the New Orleans area were requested to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident early Monday afternoon that ended in injuries.

At around 1:22 p.m., on July 19, calls for assistance came in with regards to a traffic-related incident that took place on Interstate 10. Reports from the police in New Orleans show that a crash blocked the left lane of eastbound Interstate 10 in the area of Orleans Avenue. The crash caused some disruptions in traffic throughout the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

EMS tended to the injured victims briefly at the scene before transporting those in need of further medical attention to area hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
