New Orleans, LA – Injury Crash Near Elysian Fields Ave

New Orleans, LA (June 29, 2021) – A morning rush hour car accident caused injuries to at least one victim on Tuesday, June 29th in New Orleans.

The accident, which occurred at about 8:00 a.m., took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 610 at the Elysian Fields Avenue exit and caused gridlock back to Saint Bernard Avenue.

Emergency medical personnel and local law enforcement officers both responded to the scene. Paramedics evaluated everyone involved in the incident and provided medical assistance to at least one person who was injured badly enough to be transported to a local hospital. 

This accident is under investigation.
