New Orleans, LA – NOPD Responds to Injury Accident on I-10 Near Loyola Dr

New Orleans, LA (June 25, 2021) – Police and paramedics both responded to reports of a car accident on Thursday, June 25th at about 2:55 p.m. in New Orleans.

Sources indicate that the accident took place in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 in the area of Loyola Drive.  

The site was closed off while crash investigators determined the cause of the crash and emergency medical services worked to medically assess and aid those involved and administer the appropriate medical care. 

The number of injured victims and their current conditions are unknown. No more information is currently available as the investigation is still ongoing.
