Traffic Accidents in New Orleans

Speed is a leading factor in 29% of all deadly car crashes. If you are driving on any of Louisiana’s roadways, it is imperative that you keep the legal speed limit in mind. Although it can be tempting to surpass the speed limit, increasing your speed by even just a few miles per hour raises the likelihood of being issued a speeding citation as well as being involved in a serious accident.

Our New Orleans personal injury attorneys at Smiley Law Firm genuinely care about the health and welfare of our clients. When an accident that stems from another person’s negligence causes someone harm, it is imperative that they reach out to a reliable Louisiana car accident attorney as soon as they can do so.

Speeding is not a problem drivers will only encounter on highways. Roughly 34% of all deadly collisions in which speed was involved took place on metropolitan and country roadways.

Louisiana drivers must be vigilant about their vehicle’s speed as well as the speeds of the drivers around them. Understanding that our state has several popular tourist destinations as well as events that draw crowds of people from not only other states but other countries as well. Drivers from out-of-state are not familiar with Louisiana’s speed limits and are a lot less inclined to obey traffic rules than full-time residents.

Our Louisiana personal injury attorneys fully support our clients and work hard to make sure they receive maximum compensation for their damages. If you were injured in a vehicle collision, don’t wait to get in touch with our car accident attorneys in Louisiana by calling our offices at 504-688-3494 or 504-822-2222, and schedule a free case evaluation to learn about the legal options you have available.
