New Orleans, LA (March 26, 2021) – A major motor vehicle accident reported early Friday morning resulted in severe delays in traffic and injuries. At approximately 4:22 a.m., on March 26, the Louisiana State Police responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 10.
Reports from authorities show that a vehicle collision occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 10, blocking the left lanes of the roadway near mile marker 212. The incident caused severe delays throughout the area as crews spent several hours on-site removing vehicles and debris from the roadway.
Injuries were reported in this accident. Medics responded to the scene and treated victims briefly before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
