Reports show that the crash occurred at about 7:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at the Esplanade Avenue exit.

Emergency responders and paramedics also reported to the area where they contributed to roadway clean-up and pre-hospital emergency care for the injured.
