8.08 Shreveport, LA - Armer, Taylor, and Jackson Killed in Multi-Motorcycle Crash on I-20

Deadly accidents are a harsh reality confronted by motorcycle riders much more often than other motor vehicle occupants. While just 4% of registered vehicles in Louisiana are motorcycles, the state’s Office of Motor Vehicles has recorded that almost 300 fatal Louisiana vehicle accidents happened in 2017, over 40 of which were on motorcycles.

Our motorcycle accident attorneys in Louisiana are concerned about results, and we make it a priority to be there for each of our clients to answer questions they have, to help them bypass common legal mistakes, and to deal with the difficulties that so often come up during the legal process.Β

Catastrophic injuries, such as a traumatic brain injury or even wrongful death can be caused by a serious motorcycle accident, particularly when a collision with another vehicle is involved.Β  This is because motorcycles do not provide any of the safety features that occupants of a passenger vehicle often take for granted, such as seat belts, a roll cage, and airbags, leaving riders susceptible to enduring severe internal injuries, as well as injuries to their spinal cord and brain.Β

These life-altering injuries can cost several thousand dollars in medical expenses that cause the rider and their family to suffer an economic hardship from which they may never recover.Β
