Shreveport, LA – Serious Collision with Injuries Reported on I-20 near Jewella Ave

Shreveport, LA (August 4, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Shreveport area sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 5:57 p.m., on August 2, emergency crews were notified that a crash occurred on Interstate 20.

Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the two left lanes of Interstate 20 West near Jewella Avenue. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as crews worked to clear the scene.

At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further medical care. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
