St. Gabriel, LA – Woman Dead After Being Hit by Car on Airline Hwy
St. Gabriel, LA (September 11, 2021) – A woman died after she was struck by a car on Saturday, September 11th.
Officers from the St. Gabriel Police Department said that a driver notified authorities after he hit something in the roadway at about 3:45 a.m. in the area of Elayn Hunt Correctional Center.
Upon their arrival, officers reported finding an injured woman lying on the side of the road. She was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where she died a short while later.
