St. Tammany Parish, LA – Victims Transported, Commercial Truck Overturns After Crash on I-12

St. Tammany Parish, LA (August 19, 2021) – A collision between two vehicles resulted in victims being injured and a vehicle being overturned on Thursday, August 19th in St. Tammany Parish. 

According to police, only one lane of travel was passable after an accident that caused a commercial truck to roll over took place in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 12 in the area of US-190 at about 4:40 p.m. 

Emergency responders and recovery crews were dispatched to the scene where they assisted in vehicle rescue, road clean-up, and pre-hospital emergency care. 

No additional information has been reported at this time.

This accident remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
