Tangipahoa Parish, LA – Four Injured, Including Infant on US-190 and LA-445

Tangipahoa Parish, LA (July 11, 2021) – State Police were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run crash on US 190 at the LA 445 intersection in Tangipahoa Parish on Sunday, July 11th.

The crash left a total of four people with injuries. One adult passenger sustained moderate injuries. The adult driver, an infant, and a child sustained injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

An investigation determined that the accident happened as the victim’s vehicle was driving eastbound on US 190 when a vehicle of undetermined make and model attempted to make a lefthand turn on LA-445 and crashed into the driver’s side of the victim’s car. 

The driver of the striking vehicle then fled the scene.
