Baton Rouge, LA (July 18, 2021) – The Baton Rouge Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical services responded to the site of a crash that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 3:35 p.m., on July 18, calls for assistance were received by emergency crews. Reports from local authorities indicate that a crash took place on Essen Lane that caused some disruptions in traffic in the area of Constantin Boulevard.
Crews responded to the scene and went to work immediately on securing the roadway to prevent further injuries. At least one person sustained injuries in the accident. Medics rendered aid to injured parties before transporting them to nearby hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
