Baton Rouge, LA (July 18, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Baton Rouge area sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 1:56 p.m., on July 18, emergency crews were notified that an accident on Government Street required assistance.
Reports from local authorities show that a motor vehicle accident took place in the area of 5600 Government Street during the afternoon hours. The incident blocked the roadway in the area of Franklin Street, causing some delays throughout the area.
EMS responded to the scene of the crash with the Baton Rouge Police Department and rendered aid to victims. An unknown number of people were transported from the scene of the crash to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the Baton Rouge Police are investigating the crash.
