Baton Rouge, LA – EMTs Respond to Reports of Crash on LA-1 at I-10

Baton Rouge, LA (August 31, 2021) – Victims were injured in a car accident that closed down an exit ramp in East Baton Rouge Parish on Tuesday, August 31st.

Police said the crash happened at about 8:05 a.m. on the entrance ramp going from State Highway 1 to the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Baton Rouge.

The area was closed to traffic as first responders and highway patrol officers worked the scene. Paramedics evaluated the victims. They also provided medical assistance or emergency transportation as it was needed.

This accident is under investigation.
