Gonzales, LA – Accident on I-10 E near Highway 44 Ends in Injuries
Gonzales, LA (March 29, 2021) – An automobile accident reported on Sunday morning ended in injuries. At around 7:25 a.m., on March 29, the Louisiana State Police responded to the site of a traffic-related incident on Interstate 10 East.
Reports provided by local law enforcement show that a traffic-related incident occurred on Interstate 10 East just past the area of Highway 44 during the morning hours. The accident caused delays in traffic spanning as far away as Sorrento as crews worked to clear the scene.
Medics were requested at the scene to render aid to victims and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the event are under investigation.
