Gloster, LA – Teenager Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Red Bluff Rd

April 25, 2024

Gloster, LA (July 25, 2021) – At about 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24th, Troopers from the Louisiana State Police opened an investigation into a pedestrian-involved accident that left a 17-year-old girl dead on Red Bluff Road, in the area of U.S. Highway 171.

Investigators found that a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup, driven by 23-year-old Noah Roberts, a resident of Keithville, was heading eastbound along Red Bluff Road while the victim and another pedestrian were walking along the roadside. As Robert’s vehicle crested a hill in the road, he struck the victim.

Roberts was unharmed during the incident.

The teenage girl was transported by paramedics to Ochsner Louisiana State University Health Shreveport, where she was pronounced dead.

Even though impairment is not thought to be a factor in this accident, routine toxicology samples were obtained and will be turned in for analysis.

This accident remains under investigation by state police.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time.
