Mandeville, LA – Man Seriously Burned in Walnut St House Fire

Mandeville, LA (September 03, 2021) – Officers from the Mandeville Police Department responded to a house fire on Thursday, September 2nd that put one man in the hospital.

The fire broke out at about 11:15 p.m. at a home on Walnut Street.

Firefighters are still trying to determine the cause of the fire, but they think it started in the back of the house.

One man was transported to a local hospital with burns on at least one of his arms. There has been no update on his condition.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
